The Keyworking Service, hosted by the Local Authority has services in Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire County and are funded by NHS England (NHSE). The service provides personalised, child and young person-centered support for children and young people with complex needs and their families.
The team are made up of experienced professionals from diverse backgrounds, including health, education, and social care with the key aim to offer intensive, proactive intervention to reduce crisis situations and prevent hospital admissions.
Keyworkers act as an additional resource, not replacing existing professionals but working alongside them to help families navigate services, coordinate support, and ensure that the child or young person’s needs remain at the heart of their care.
To be accepted into the Keyworking Service your child must have a diagnosis of autism and/or a learning disability, be on the Dynamic Support Register (DSR) www.england.nhs.uk - A guide to the DSR and Rag rated Red or Amber DSR Rag Rating
